New Bedford Whaling Museum
Don’t miss this opportunity to come away with us for a whale of a time in a city that once lit the world. This #1 fishing port in America fueled the growth and diversity of the South Coast region. See the world’s largest model whaling ship, and complete whale skeletons. Founded in 1903, the museum preserves a communal story of the many who settled in the city of light, from the immigrants, merchants to whalers, seamstresses to fishermen. The museum weaves their narratives together, inviting visitors to examine the topics that shaped our past and remain critical today. From there we will travel to the impressive Vietnam Memorial Wall, an 80% scale size replica of the original Vietnam Wall in Washington, DC, where we will share a special moment in memory of our fallen soldiers. We will end this day with a delicious three course lunch at the Cove Restaurant on the bank of Mt Hope Bay.

Crime Town – Providence RI – The Story of the Mafia and the Mayor
If you’re a fan of the movies Goodfellows & The Godfather, along with the television series The Sopranos, then you don’t want to miss this tour. First there was New York, Chicago, and then this little neighborhood known as Federal Hill in Providence. It was the home base of the third largest La Cosa family in the country. Providence is basically a city of two hills. One side is Federal Hill & the other side is called College Hill with a river running down the middle of it. Join us for the tale of two men who ruled the city, and ended up in federally gated communities. We will hear their stories as we travel the streets, see the sites, and stop for a lunch to taste the food they loved. This Italian restaurant has been in business since 1924. Lunch is included. You guessed it, Angelos Civita Farnese Italian Restaurant.
